Shasta VOICES is governed by a Board of Directors: Trish Clarke, Dave Scott, Maureen Gaynor, Steve Gaines, Ron Largent, Ryan Denham, and Jerry Wagar.  The Executive Director is Mary B. Machado.

There are currently 805 supporters contributing in some way to our success, who live and work in our community.  Here is a sampling of some industries that they represent:  hotels, restaurants, banks, excavators, sandwich shops, real estate office, realtors, welders, associations, insurance offices and agents, dental professionals, engineers, architects, accountants, roofers, enrolled agents, telecommunications services, property managers, building contractors, multitudes of retailers (large and small), suppliers, manufacturers, developers, business consultants, medical professionals, and retirees.

By joining as a member of Shasta VOICES, or contributing in support of our efforts, your investment will be used to defer costs and further our mission of creating a majority of voices for a healthy community.  We will:

 

• Advocate for a balanced approach to issues affecting our economic opportunity.
• Proactively seek and obtain public information on such issues, generate communication to our supporters and all interested persons through our website, emails, print materials, phone and person-to-person contacts.
• Take on your causes and amplify your voices.
• Speak up at public meetings and other public forums when given the opportunity to voice our support and/or concerns for issues that affect those who live and work in our community.
• Write letters of support and/or concern to government officials when appropriate.
• Provide regular email alerts and updates on issues we are tracking. 
• Provide a monthly newsletter to keep you updated and informed.
• Conduct annual membership meetings.
